Etiquettes

When on the lookout for a potential mate, there’s almost nothing as attractive in a man as good breeding, manners and knowledge. From my illustrious career as the coolest bro around, trust me when I say that you need this quick guide to own certain behaviours and qualities before you #MakeYourMove.

Mangy manners

Be it a woman, child, or man, treat every individual with the same respect, without taking into account their age, social status or income. Putting someone else down isn’t winning you any battles, bro, so stop wasting useful energy on anything except pushing yourself further up.

Dining scenes

Do not confuse equality with chivalry. Chivalry is never dead for a true gentleman. Hold the door for your lady friend, pull out the chair for her, treat the servers with respect and always offer to settle the cheque.

Driving Etiquette

Whether you’re driving alone or with a passenger, make sure you keep your eyes on the road. A few moments of showing off your racing skills isn’t going to earn you any brownie points, and neither is getting pulled over for talking on the phone or not wearing your seatbelt.

Colour Codes

While flamboyance and contrasting hues is perfectly acceptable, and in fact, sought after, there are some colour codes you must never defy. Don’t ever pair black shoes with anything but a black belt, for starters. With brown shoes, you can pair a brown belt, sure, but even something more adventurous like a necktie or a multi-colored belt. Similarly, brown shoes and black socks? No! It’s only beige that works.

So remember, bros, you’ve got to be the best version of yourself every minute of every day, and to do that, you’ve got to know what makes a good man, great.
