Mr. Bro’s 5 morning mantras to be more successful
Success is not a destination, but a part of our daily betterment. A motivated bro will keep looking for ways to improve himself. Try these five things at the start of your day to make your move and maintain your peak performance:
1.Wake up before everybody else
Some people are night owls and are at their best at night. Others function best when they wake up early. Sadly, this natural body rhythm gets disturbed by electronic distractions like phones and laptops. According to experts, the early bird gets the worm, as well as the dough. When you rise and shine before everyone else (5 AM or earlier), you have the best functional hours to yourself without the distractions. If waking up this early is strenuous, start by practicing waking up 10 minutes earlier each day.
A man is defined by the heights he has scaled in life. A true bro always goes after his dreams and chases them relentlessly. The key to success is finding what gets you pumped. Reading inspirational books about people who have made it large, while you eat breakfast, can charge both your body and mind. Listen to successful people talking about their struggle. Look at your own role models - find out about their life struggles and learn from them. Inspirational wall hangings also push you to do more and create a positive vibe around you. Getting excited and pumped up about work first thing in the morning will help you want to make the most of your day.
3.Knock off the big tasks
Each night before you hit the bed, make a list of all the things that need to be done the next day. Sort them according to priority or the time each would take to be completed. Keep this to-do list next to your bedside so that it’s the last thing you see each night and the first thing you see in the morning. When you wake up, your motivation to work is at its peak. You’ll be most driven to do the toughest things in the earliest hours of the day. Take your list and start ticking off the toughest tasks and you’ll see how your day turns around, bro.
4.Plan your day
Distractions come in various forms and can end up disrupting your day. Start your day with the toughest or most time-consuming tasks and work your way down the priority list. Keep space for minor distractions in your schedule, plan to take a break every few hours. When unexpected tasks show up, decide how urgent or important they are to you and delegate them accordingly. Always make time for breaks because this ensures your productivity doesn’t decline over time. Find your own rhythm and try to stick to it until it becomes a habit.
5.Treat your body like a machine
Fuel up with nourishing essentials like nuts, seeds and fruits, which keep your body and mind at the top of their game. Keep yourself hydrated to avoid sluggishness. Take deep breaths and refresh your body by supplying it with the oxygen it needs. Exercise doesn’t have to include a gym membership. There are a range of work-outs you can do at home such as push ups, crunches and squats. Starting the day with either meditation or a little sweat delivers that extra punch to your body.
So, are you ready to make the most of your mornings, bro?
